I moved to Raleigh in 1992 and have not regretted a day that I did. Life here is different, not quite as hectic. When time allows, it's great to just take off for the day and go to the coast to enjoy some of our states beautiful beaches. The influence of NC State, UNC and Duke plus several other schools along with the brainpower in the Research Triangle Park make this a great place to live. Downtown Raleigh has grown into a beautiful city since the early 90's. With commercial and residential building everywhere you look, it is a vibrant downtown now.
